Social Careline News and Updates
Our Feature in Cotswold Life Magazine November 2017
We are very proud to have been featured in Cotswold Life Magazine November 2017 edition. It details the fantastic story of how Social Careline was invented, and how we are trying to raise awareness and support for the millions of people caring in the UK. If you are in the Cotswolds you can buy the magazine or read the full article by clicking the link below, or visiting our website.
Social Careline’s successful exhibition at Employee Benefits Live!
We exhibited at Employee Benefits live for the first time this year and it was a great success. On the 10th and 11th October our merry band traveled down to Olympia to join the other 130 plus employee benefits companies showcasing their latest products and services. It was really interesting to see the variety offered to companies, with a serious focus on how to support carers, look after your employees mental health and create in inclusive and diverse culture.
Our stand designed by us to look like a cosy, welcoming kitchen – was a hit, along with our tea biscuits and lip balm giveaways. Our aim was to get everybody talking about the stress on informal carers and help companies to become open and trusting environments where it is no longer a taboo.
Campden Business Awards 2017
This is now the sixth year of The Campden Business Awards, which are held annually by the Campden Business Forum to recognise and celebrate the achievements of businesses in the town and surrounding area. The Social Careline team are very excited to have been entered into the Innovation Award category and will be attending the Awards dinner at the Cotswold House Hotel on Thursday 30th November, hopefully to collect our award!
Christmas is traditionally a time for Families to spend time together and celebrate the festive season. For some families it is often the time of year when we realise that our elderly parents and relatives could do with a little more help.
Social Careline with its Reminder and Reassurance Service has been developed to include medication alerts throughout the day – recorded and scheduled by their relative from their laptop or mobile. The key to the system is that your relative hears a voice they love through a device they trust.
